Types of Interview Information

They are six in common:

  • Statement of description – this is where the interviewee is required to provide information to the interviewer about something he/she has observed or experienced. E.g. interviewed as a witness
  • Statement of factual knowledge
  • Statement of behaviour
  • Statement of attitude and belief
  • Statement of feelings
  • Statement of value

Note: they types of interview information is different form the different types of interview. An interview type always depends on the more common nature of the interview. The most common type of interview are related to business ones. For example: employment, performance appraisal, termination, job induction, sales, order taking etc.
